Build guide
Ceramic Tower
Place and commission the ceramic evaporative tower (premium module).
Time
2–3 hours (placement)
Difficulty
Intermediate
Tools
- Level
- Soft cloth
- Optional dolly for weight
Safety
- Tower is heavy (~25 kg) — lift with two people
- Place on a stable, level base away from edges
How to put it together
- 1
Choose microclimate
Shaded airflow helps evaporative cooling. Avoid sealed rooms with no air exchange.
- 2
Level the base
Set the wooden/stand base level. Confirm the basin sits true so water does not spill.
- 3
Seat the ceramic body
Lower the ceramic honeycomb tower onto the base carefully. Check glaze for shipping cracks.
- 4
Prime the basin
Add clean water to the basin per capacity (~10 L max). Do not overfill into vents.
- 5
Commission
Allow a day for thermal cycling. Collect condensate from the designed outlet only.
- 6
Care
Wipe dust from ceramic; refresh basin water; never use harsh acids on the glaze.
Tips
- Think sculpture + physics — placement aesthetics matter for airflow too
- PCM core works best with day/night temperature swing
